atmosphere of the scene. And sorry if Jeanne's arrival quote sounds funny...

No page numbers are shown and you really don't need them. You can follow the
translations quite perfectly. Dialogue is divided by scenes, once a new scene starts
a new paragraph starts. Email Emi-chan to express your gratitude. I also put in some
pictures. I only put 2 per chapter and I didn't get the best scenes either. You have to
buy this manga just to see how beautiful it is.

Jeanne : Mysterious thief..... Sinbad?
Sinbad : Yes, remember it...
Jeanne/Marron : Wait, those words...they sound like someone's words....

[a door is opening]
[Finn pops up, smiling]
Finn : Hello! It's morning Marron!.... eh?
[Marron is dancing to some gymnastics music, hula hooping]
[Finn looks doubtfully at Marron]
Finn : Uh.. why are you dancing? .... Staying up all night too.....
Marron : I was remodeling my gymnastic equipment to make weapons!
[announces proudly]
One hit and get knocked out! Lead filled ball!

Marron : Perfect!
Finn : .... what is..
Finn : Is this possibly a counter-plan against Sinbad?
Marron : Of course! I'll strike and defeat him and I'll make him regret he challenged
me!
[Marron jumps around happily]
Finn : [thinks to herself] She hates to be defeated...
Finn : Well, I've already got the next target so can I send out our arrival notice?
Marron : Of course!
[spots something..... which is her answering machine/fax]
[Marron presses the button]
Answering machine : There is no business
[Marron smiles]
Marron : We'll do it Finn, tonight we'll do it!

[Marron opens her front door]
[Chiaki is standing outside smiling]
Chiaki : Good morning Marron!
[Marron makes a face]
Marron : Chiaki!
Chiaki : If you don't hurry up, you'll be late!
[Marron hurries past, Chiaki follows]
Marron : Who asked you to wait?
Chiaki : You're so cold.....
Chiaki : Yesterday, there was a letter in my mail box which was addressed to you. I came to
deliver it to you.
[Marron pauses]
Marron : [thinks] A letter!?
Marron : Let me see!
Chiaki : [sings] Hmmm, what should I do...?
Marron : [frowns] You....!

[Miyako comes along and dumps her rubbish bag on top of Marron]
Miyako : What are you doing, flirting with guys in the morning?
Marron : [panics] Miyako! No, he's got a letter addressed to me and he won't show me....
Chiaki : You want to see it that bad? Here...
[Shows Marron the letter. It's just some junkmail]
Marron : [frowns] You were teasing me!
Chiaki : Not particularly....
[Chiaki grins]
Chiaki : Who did you think it was from?
[Marron is angry]
Marron : No one!
[Marron runs off]
[Miyako is clung onto Chiaki's arm]
Miyako : [sighs] I wonder how long she's going to wait for a letter or phone call....
Chiaki : Do you know something?
Miyako : [frowns] I don't know anything! Let's go!
[Miyako, Chiaki and Marron are walking]
Marron : Don't follow me!
Chiaki : We go to the same school, it can't be helped.
Miyako : Yeah..
[a shadowy figure is standing behind the wall, watching them]
[Chiaki is smiling sweetly at Marron]
(the shadowy figure is Minazuki kun, the class rep)
Minazuki : Those two... they've become friendlier than yesterday.... it mustn't stay like this..

(In the classroom)
Miyako : Mysterious Thief Sinbad!?
Marron : Yeah, I'm sort of hooked on him lately. Do you know anything?
Miyako : Hmmm, well his name is as famous as Jeanne's is with the police, but I'm the Jeanne
specialty..... Sinbad used to appear in the town that Chiaki lived in....
Marron : That's it!
Miyako : You're going to pretend you're interested in Sinbad to get closer to Chiaki! How
frightening!
[Miyako is trembling]
Marron : Who would..!? I just.....
Minazuki : [mumbles] Kusakabe san...
Marron : Hm? Did you say something?
Miyako : Huh?
Minazuki : [mumbles] Kusakabe san...
Minazuki : Kusakabe san... [appears]
[Marron screams and jumps back, then realises it is the class rep]
Marron : Minazuki kun!
Minazuki : Good morning.
Miyako : Oh it's the class rep. You're so gloomy whenever I see you.
Marron : Miyako! Sorry Minazuki kun! Did you have something to say?
Minazuki : [mumbles] Oh, I brought the classical tape that you wanted...
Marron : You brought it for me?
[Minazuki vision : Marron is smiling very sweetly]
Marron : I'm so glad! Thank you!
Miyako : Since when did you have that sort of taste?
Marron : It's for my gymnastics music!
Minazuki : Kusakabe san! I have many classical CD's! And.. um, if you want...another time..
come to my house....
Marron : [shouts and doesn't hear Minazuki kun] Chiaki!! Found him! [points to a room in
another part of a building]
Marron : I have to go and ask!! Shubiduba --!! (I couldn't translate that, sorry ^^;)
[Runs off]
Miyako : Hey! Wait, Marro...
[glares at Minazuki]
Minazuki : What?
Miyako : You're worried too aren't you? Then come!
Minazuki : Eh?
[Miyako drags Minazuki and runs off]

Marron stand outside the library.
Marron : [thinks] The library? I wonder if he's reading indecent books....

[Marron opens the door to find Chiaki asleep...]
Marron : [thinks] He's asleep....
[there's a pile of books beside Chiaki]
Marron : [thinks] What a pile of books!
[Marron tried to look through them]
Marron : [thinks] Hmmm, doesn't look like there are any indecent books, but they all like
difficult books. I don't know what they're about....
[Chiaki stirs]
Chiaki : What are you doing? [Kisses Marron lovingly on the cheek]
[Marron screams and Miyako and Minazuki notice, peeping through the door]
Marron : You tricked me!
Chiaki : No one said I was asleep.
Marron : Anyway, do you know anything about Mysterious Thief Sinbad?
Chiaki : [grins] Hmm, Sinbad?
Marron : What?
Chiaki : If you answer my question, I'll tell you.
Marron : huh?
Chiaki : The letter you're waiting for, who's it from?
Marron : Th-that's none of your business!
Chiaki : Then I won't tell you either!
Marron : ....my parents...they've been overseas since I was young...
Chiaki : Since you were young?
Marron : Yes. They left everything to Miyako's family and haven't contacted us at all... so I..
[Marron realises she's saying too much]
Marron : I've answered your question! You answer too!
Chiaki : Hmph! Sinbad is...
Marron : Sinbad is...?
Chiaki : is really fast at escaping!
[Marron falls over and so do Minazuki and Miyako behind the door]
Marron : Answer me seriously!
Chiaki : I'm always very serious!
Chiaki : I don't think there's anyone who could capture him!
Marron : Hm! Not things like that, but weaknesses or something....
[Miyako's cellular phone rings]
Miyako : Yes. What!? Jeanne and Sinbad have both sent out arrival notices!?

Marron : Game start!

Miyako is standing with the police team behind her and her father on the right.
Police team : *gasp*
[A huge wonderful security system hangs overhead]
Company president : Ha ha ha! Our company does have money! We can create such devices!
Miyako : Eh? Where's the painting?
Company president : I have hidden the painting! I can't rely on the police who uselessly
increase mysterious thieves! Ho ho ho ho!
[staff hold back Miyako]
Staff A : I'm sorry! Our boss has being acting strange lately.
Staff B : He's not really that kind of person, to say things like that!

Marron : *sigh* Well, I didn't end up getting any of Sinbad's weaknesses... 9 o'clock exactly!
Let's go Finn!
[Jeanne jumps through the glass]
Jeanne : Reincarnated by God to seal evil..... Mysterious Thief Jeanne! Sent by God, I have
been called!
Miyako : Now!
[the large trap falls on Jeanne]
Miyako : We've done it!
Miyako : Hohohoho! I think it was high time you were captured!
Jeanne : Very well, I will bravely give up..... but can I just see the beauty of the painting
that I was trying to steal?
Company president : NO NO NO!
Jeanne : Why?
Company president : You're pretending to have given up and once I take ou the painting, you'll
confront us!
Jeanne : [sobs] How horrible....I never...

Staff A : Look boss, she's crying!
Staff B : Boss!
Company president : ....well all right, but just a little bit....
Jeanne : Escape!
Company president : You tricked us!
Jeanne : So foolish! [giggle]
Jeanne : In the name of God, may the darkness which is born as evil...
Sinbad : Check mate!
Jeanne : Sin..bad..? A black chess piece?
Sinbad : I win tonight, Jeanne. Bye!
Jeanne : Hey! That's not fair, Sinbad!
[Miyako is looking shocked...]
Company president : What are you doing? Don't just stand there! Go after them!
Miyako's dad : [thinks] Hm? That's strange....it's not the same as usual...
[aloud] But the painting's disappeared...

Sinbad : I told you it was a challenge. Letting your guard down is always foolish.
Jeanne : [furiously] What!?
Sinbad : Eh?
[the black chess piece turns back to the pin]
Sinbad : How could this be? The chess piece turned back to the pin... I did capture the evil
spirit...
Jeanne : eh?

Police team : Oh! It's the same as Jeanne's this time! The picture's coming up! Miyako-!
[Miyako becomes conscious]
Police team : Eh? but the painting hasn't changed?
Miyako : Show me! .....It's true.... so that means Jeanne and Sinbad failed to steal..?
Company president : Ah I see. If the painting is safe, you won't need to go after those two.
It's all right now.
Evil spirit : [floating] I'm glad they made a mistake. They didn't realise I was hidden in
another painting on the wall.. but it will only be a matter of time before I am found. I must
posess another human quickly..
Evil spirit : [to Minazuki] Come here, take me in.... In return, I will grant you your wish.
You want to change don't you? A self that will be able to express your true feelings...

Marron : Escaped!? Then the challenge doesn't count! I haven't lost yet!
Finn : That's not the point is it Marron?
Marron : But Sinbad knew about the evil spirit and he had a black chess piece.... maybe God sent
him to help?
Finn : Finn hasn't heard such a thing! For the time being, finding the evil spirit
that escaped is top priority! Have you got your rosary?
Marron : of course!
A voice : Kusakabe san?
Finn : Finn will go now!
[Minazuki come out from behind the bushes]
Marron : ?? Who are you?
Minazuki : It's Minazuki Yamato.
Marron : Minazuki kun!? What happened?
Minazuki : I changed to contact lenses. Thanks to them, [pushes Marron against a wall]
Marron : [thinks] eh?
Minazuki : I can see you clearly, Kusakabe san.
Marron : You're joking aren't you Minazuki kun? Move out of the way....
[the rosary beeps]
Marron : [thinks] *gasp* This must mean... that..the evil spirit's possessed Minazuki kun!
Marron : No... no... [Minazuki leans in to kiss Marron] wait a minute Minazuki kun....
